Testimonials

Kind words from our wonderful students, clients and friends!

“I really enjoyed both classes very much. You are an excellent and patient teacher and it was a pleasure to have Shannon there as well.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. I learned a lot and feel much more confident working with wire and metal and also INSPIRED.”

“OMGoodness she absolutely loves it!! She wore it every day she was here! She cherished every single charm, but the mining symbol was the cream of the crop – she snapped a picture of it to all her mining friends!!

Hats-off AGAIN to you & Shannon for another perfect gift that the recipient will wear over and over and cherish for a very long time!”
Thank you Ladies,
Have a Happy New Year!

“Hi Sally,

Thank you so much for a wonderful class last week. You are an amazing teacher – I can’t believe we were all able to do such difficult twists and techniques. It was so much fun and I love my bracelet. I would be happy to get your emails and would love to take another class next summer.”
Susan Hillson

“Just wanted to say thank you again for giving us ladies a great class. You are a really good teacher, having been a teacher and having gone to lots of workshops and seminars, I can say this sincerely! It was fun to get to know some new ladies from the lake. I look forward to more classes next spring/summer.”
Have a blessed day!

“They really are lovely! The necklace is even better in person because of the rougher look to the stones. I have a necklace of black pearls I wear in the winter a lot and the new necklace will be my summer go-to necklace. The bracelet is perfect. I was afraid the weight of the beads would make them fall to the bottom side of my wrist but the cuff style keeps them right on top. Just perfect.

Everything arrived today safely. Looks great. Now I have to go somewhere to show off your lovely works of art. Thank you for your time and talent. You and Shannon have a gift.”
Love you guys

“Pearl necklace arrived today. Both David and I love it. Delicate and yet will go with jeans and everything else. You do beautiful work, Sally. I shall enjoy wearing it and will think of you. Do you have any leftover pale blue pearls to make matching stud earrings?”
Thanks!
Rosemarie

“You guys do really special work!”

“You were a phenomenal teacher this weekend. Thanks for your assistance and your patience. I’m very pleased with what I learned and what I made. I feel much more confident to try soldering in my own now, and I will most assuredly be doing some fold forming. However, I must finish my silver charm necklace first!! I’ll send pictures.”
Suellen Stover

“Hi Sally, can not tell you how much I enjoyed the fold forming class last Sunday. I am so enthused about the craft and hope to start making those leaf earrings and necklaces really soon and have it evolve into other items. It is always such a treat to take one of your classes – you and Shannon are such a lovely mother-daughter team and your graciousness in acknowledging everyone’s individuality is such an incentive. Many, many thanks. I am still kicking myself for not taking the soldering class, however you did cover some instruction on Sunday and will continue to “play around” with it.

Please keep me on your “class notice” list as I am very interested in continuing to take additional classes…”
Best regards,

“Wow! I just had an amazing day doing nothing but creating, building, learning and making friends. I teach full time myself so I’m especially interested in not only the learning that takes place but teaching styles that can make or break a class. Sally’s certainly made the class! I was able to go home and create another beautiful bracelet with eagerness and ease to boot. I can’t wait for my next endeavor with you where my creative juices and own innovative inspirations (buried very deeply somewhere within) are encouraged to flow…

You get an A++ on your report card, Sally!”

“As Bette Midler once said, ” People are not the best because they work hard. They work hard because they are the best. ” And Sally,YOU are the best ! I thank you for the exceptional manner in which you teach your classes, the materials you provide, your never ending patience and the wonderful lampwork beads created by your daughter Shannon. Without your dedication and expertise, I would not be nearly as knowledgable about wire and metal work as I am. You have been a true inspiration ! I learn something new everytime I take a class with you. Your engaging personality has made my journey into jewelry making a fascinating experience.”
Phyllis A. Giberson

“I truly admire not only your work, but your dedication to helping others learn the art and craft of making jewelry. I am so proud of you and your accomplishments — you have worked very hard and truly deserve all the success that comes your way! I consider it a true honor and privilege to have such a talented mentor and friend.”

“I think Shannon’s beads are getting more beautiful and inventive. Your classes are so much fun and so popular that if I’m not fast enough signing up your class is full.”

“Sally’s and Shannon’s works are incredible. They are always designing new, wonderful items. Sally’s classes are wonderful. She’s a great teacher, speaks so that we can understand what we are doing, has unending patience, AND everyone leaves with beautiful jewelry and more knowledge and skills than we could have imagined.”

“Kudos to the creative and inspirational art generated by Sally and Shannon. Because of your awesome art, a new world of expression has been opened up in myself. A wonderful direction has been revealed to me through your expertise and thoughtful teaching. I want to thank you from the bottom of my pea-pickn’-heart!”

“You can always tell a Sally & Shannon piece of jewelry. They are very creative and one of a kind pieces. I always get complements on my bangle bracelet which I made in one of Sally’s classes. If you have the opportunity, you need to take a class from Sally because she gives you detailed instructions and is very hands helping each student one by one. Plus along the way she gives you ideas on how to make your piece a special one. I’ve taken a number of classes with Sally and looking forward to taking ones in the future. I also want to mention that the Lampwork beads that Shannon creates are just beautiful and complement the piece you are working on. I sometimes buy a bead from her without knowing what to do with it…because it is so stunning. Thank you for your classes, beads and friendship!”
